Treatment Process

A SkinPen® treatment typically takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the area being treated. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to ensure comfort, and most patients describe the sensation as mild and tolerable.

The SkinPen® device is then passed over the skin, creating thousands of precise microchannels that trigger your skin’s natural healing response. If you are adding PRP, the plasma is applied during the treatment to amplify your results.

Recovery and Aftercare

Most patients experience mild redness for 24 to 48 hours after treatment, similar to a mild sunburn. Some patients also notice slight dryness or peeling as the skin heals. You can return to normal activities right away, though you should avoid direct sun exposure, harsh skincare products, and intense workouts for 24 to 48 hours.
