Facial balancing is a comprehensive approach to aesthetic treatment that uses a combination of injectables, including neurotoxins like BOTOX® and dermal fillers like JUVÉDERM®, to enhance the overall proportion, symmetry, and harmony of the face. You will leave with a written treatment plan that documents both what was done that day and what is recommended for any future visits.

Treatment Process

Facial balancing is highly customized. Many patients complete their treatment in a single appointment, while others prefer to space their plan across multiple sessions. Depending on your goals, your facial anatomy, your age, and any prior treatments, your plan may include several syringes of filler placed across multiple areas. Whatever the right approach is for you, your injector will design a plan that feels manageable and delivers the result you want. Most patients return 4 to 6 weeks after their treatment for a follow-up so your injector can assess how the filler has settled and refine any areas as needed.

Recovery and Aftercare

Downtime is minimal. Mild swelling, tenderness, or light bruising at the injection sites is common and typically resolves within a few days. Your injector will provide personalized aftercare instructions based on the specific treatments you receive, including guidance on activity, skincare, and when to schedule your follow-up.

Treatments We Use in a Facial Balancing Plan

A facial balancing plan is built around your specific goals, anatomy, and budget. Depending on what your injector recommends, your plan may include one or more of the following treatments.

Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid fillers like JUVÉDERM® are used to restore volume, add structure, and refine the shape of specific areas, including the cheeks, chin, jawline, lips, and under eyes. Filler is one of the most powerful tools in facial balancing because it can subtly rebuild the foundation of the face.

Neurotoxins

Biostimulators
