Each Exion treatment is performed in our office and varies in length depending on the area being treated, typically ranging from 20 to 60 minutes. Most patients tolerate Exion treatments well, and topical numbing is used when appropriate to keep you comfortable. Your provider at BB Beauty Lounge will walk you through every step before starting.

Recovery and Aftercare

Downtime varies by treatment but is minimal across the Exion family. Some patients experience mild redness, warmth, or sensitivity for a short time after treatment. We will give you clear aftercare instructions specific to the Exion treatment you received to help protect your results and support healing.

Exion Results

Many patients begin to notice improvements within a few weeks of their first Exion treatment, with continued results developing over the following months as collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production builds. How is Exion different from laser treatments?

Exion uses radiofrequency, ultrasound, and microneedling technologies rather than lasers. This makes several Exion treatments, including Exion Clear, safe for all skin tones and appropriate to perform year-round, including during sunny months when traditional laser treatments are often limited.

Is Exion painful?

Most patients tolerate Exion treatments well. Topical numbing is used when appropriate, and we will adjust settings to keep you comfortable. Sensations vary by treatment, ranging from warmth and tingling to mild pinching during microneedling.

How many sessions will I need?

Most Exion treatments deliver the best results in a series of 4 to 6 sessions per area, typically spaced a few weeks apart.
